Class Description:
State and Local Government is a nine-week, one semester course in which students will examine the historical, political, and economic development of California state and local government in general. This course provides an examination of the role, structure, and function as well as the political and administrative processes found at the state and local levels in the American federal system. Areas of focus will include the California Constitution as providing the basic framework for our political institutions and processes of federal, state and local government.
