A quick guide to success in mrs. heacock's class
This website will be the main source of information for students throughout the year.
We have reached the final quarter of the 2015-16 school year at Natomas Middle School! Successful students should be checking infinite campus regulary to make sure their grade is where they want it to be. Students, YOU have the power to manipulate your grade!
Please feel free to contact Mrs. Heacock at any time. E-mail is best and will be answered as soon as possible. Phone calls will be routed through NMS's front office and may take longer to reply to. A hand written note is the oldest form of communication but still works!
A Messenger (and e-mail if registered in infinite campus) will be sent to your Infinite Campus homepage every Friday (or Saturday....or Sunday) with important announcements and the plan and expectations for the upcoming week. If you are not receiving this very important e-mail, please see the front office to make sure your e-mail and priorities are properly input into infinite campus.
Communication is a very important component of education at ACE High School and your future employment. I will send out class announcements/information on a regular basis. In order to receive these announcements and communications students will need an email address AND will need to check it regularly. Gmail is preferred because larger files can be sent. Following is a link to a three minute video with directions on how to set up a gmail account: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cfO_iRv9Jro . The chosen email name must be school appropriate and show the student's name. Please contact me with questions or concerns regarding an email address. Please make sure all email addresses are updated in infinite campus.
Most students know how to text really well, but typing is still a necessary skill.
